Maximize adds Club ITC transfers (1 MaxCoin = 1 Green Point)

Maximize × Club ITC — 1 MaxCoin equals 1 Club ITC Green Point, minimum 100 MaxCoins, 48-hour transfer

On 22 August 2026 Maximize switched on MaxCoins → Club ITC Green Points at 1:1. That is a cleaner hotel door than their Accor (2:1) or KrisFlyer (2:1) rates: one MaxCoin becomes one Green Point, and Club ITC prices Green Points at ₹1 on eligible hotel spend. If you actually stay or dine at ITC-family hotels, this is one of the more usable MaxCoins exits in India.

What went live

  • Ratio: 1 MaxCoin = 1 Club ITC Green Point
  • Stated value: 1 Green Point = ₹1 at participating hotels
  • Minimum: 100 MaxCoins per transfer (from the launch creative)
  • Posting: 48 hours (from the launch creative), not same-hour
  • You need a Club ITC membership; names should match Maximize

Club ITC’s public bank-partner grid still lists Axis, HDFC, SBI, Fi, Magnify, and others — Maximize is not on that page yet. Treat the 22 August thread plus the in-app Redeem screen as the live product, and re-check the app if a transfer fails.

Where Green Points spend

Maximize listed 140+ hotels across ITC Hotels, Welcomhotel, Mementos, Storii, and Fortune — luxury weekends through business-travel Fortune. Green Points are not only room nights: dining, spa, upgrades, and other hotel folio items are in the usual Club ITC redemption mix. Reward Nights on itchotels.com can also price below cash BAR when the points rate is live.

Promos: Stay More. Earn More, Days of Joy, Culinaire

Maximize pointed at the current Stay More. Earn More window (21 Aug 2026–20 Feb 2027, up to 50,000 bonus Green Points) and past Days of Joy-style drops. Transferred Green Points do not create bonus nights by themselves — you still have to book direct, hit 10 eligible nights, and mix hotels/brands. Use Maximize to top up a stay you were going to take, not to manufacture the promo from coins alone.

They also flagged Green Points for Club ITC Culinaire and “double dip” when a promo cuts the points a stay needs, or when Culinaire benefits need only one offer night. Culinaire is a paid dining subscription; run the restaurant maths for your city before buying it with transferred points.

Green Points vs ITC gift cards

Maximize’s comparison is fair: 1 Green Point = ₹1 across a wider ITC portfolio (stays, dining, spa). Gift cards often sit at fewer properties and fewer folio uses. If you already hold MaxCoins and will sleep or eat at Club ITC hotels, transferring to Green Points is usually more flexible than buying an ITC gift card from the same wallet.

Onward to Marriott Bonvoy

Green Points can move to Marriott Bonvoy. Club ITC’s rewards page: 2 Green Points = 3 Marriott Bonvoy points, minimum 2,000 Green Points per conversion, maximum 5,000 Green Points per member per quarter. At Maximize’s 1:1 that is 2 MaxCoins → 3 Bonvoy after the Club ITC hop, capped at 7,500 Bonvoy a quarter. Useful for a global Marriott night; a poor default if you only stay ITC in India — you give up the ₹1 Green Point floor.

When 1:1 is worth it

If you already transfer Axis EDGE, HDFC, or SBI miles into Club ITC at a richer bank ratio, keep using the bank door for card points. Maximize is the play when MaxCoins is the currency you have — shopping cashback, gift cards, hotel bookings on the app — and you have an ITC stay, dining bill, or Stay More. Earn More night on the calendar.

At 1:1, ₹1 of MaxCoins becomes ₹1 of Green Point hotel value if you redeem at the official peg. That matches Maximize’s own gift-card floor and beats dumping coins into a weak airline at 2:1. Accor at 2:1 can still win on a sweet-spot ALL night; Club ITC wins when the stay is domestic ITC-family.

Practical checklist

  1. Join Club ITC with passport/ID-matching name, same as Maximize.
  2. Price the cash stay or dining bill. Confirm 1 Green Point ≈ ₹1 still beats paying cash.
  3. If you are chasing Stay More. Earn More, book direct and add the membership number — transferred points do not skip the 10-night gate.
  4. In Maximize, confirm 1:1, the 100 MaxCoin minimum, and the 48-hour posting time.
  5. Transfer only what the stay needs, then wait for Green Points to post before checkout.
  6. Skip the Marriott hop unless you have a specific Bonvoy booking and are inside the 5,000 GP quarterly cap.
